Thanks for your comment. Of all the posts on this blog, perhaps this has been the most satisfying. I'm a musician and, without a shadow of doubt, I can say that Steve Miller is undeniably one of my biggest influences. I am an unconditional fan of this classic band, a magical time of epic bands.

I must also thank you for the intorduction to J. T. MEIRELES. I'd never even heard the name...pretty amazing stuff. The Samba Novo wuth Edison Machado is top notch; really fine. I love the two newer combo albums but there is a warm fuzzy spot in my heart for any big band music, so the & Sua Orquestra pieces are superb. A real buffett of percussion and brass!. "Recall The Beginning...." just when I was about to give up on the search for this gem I found your blog.
Steve millers greatest hits was one of the first albums I owned. Even today I love his soothing style and psychedelic touch. Great post keep up the good work. Check these out IStillGotMyGuitar.
